Our dedicated Manchester employees Kitchen Manager Greg and General Manager Nate made their way south in the blinding blizzard to greet our In the Mix guests! This fun demo event was hosted at the New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlet superstore at 25 Coliseum Avenue in Nashua.
Greg provided a bolognese demonstration for the crowd. This signature 900 Degrees bolognese was then paired with Killibinbin Sneaky Shiraz, Concannon Cabernet Sauvignon, Gooseneck Cabernet Sauvignon, and Ava Grace Sauvignon Blanc. It was a wonderful and delicious way to spend a snow day!
The owner of 900 Degrees pizzeria is expanding her business into Portsmouth, which will mark the restaurant company’s third location.
In 2007, Priscilla Lane-Rondeau opened 900 Degrees on Dow Street in Manchester. The restaurant was a hit, and in 2013 she opened a second location at Brickyard Square in Epping. Since then, Lane-Rondeau has been getting requests to open in locations throughout the state, including Concord and Nashua, but she never set out to start a restaurant chain.
“I just wanted to bring a good wood-fired pizza to Manchester,” she said.
Lane-Rondeau decided to open her third restaurant near Water Country on Lafayette Road because she found a spot close to where new affordable apartments are being built. She saw the opportunity to be part of a work/play community.
“The people we’re targeting are more local people,” Lane-Rondeau said.
In addition to being part of a neighborhood, Lane-Rondeau is looking forward to taking on some sustainability initiatives that aren’t currently available to her in Manchester and Epping. Lane-Rondeau said she has always wanted to compost but couldn’t. She set up a Thursday meeting to talk to developers about a green area behind the restaurant.
Lane-Rondeau is also considering gardening to harvest fresh vegetables for the restaurant’s pizza and other dishes. In addition to serving wood-fired pizza, 900 Degrees serves soups, salads, sandwiches and fresh pasta.

Priscilla Lane-Rondeau is looking forward to opening a new restaurant while building on the sustainability practices that have become a hallmark of her brand. Lane-Rondeau, owner of 900 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria, said she hopes to finalize paperwork soon to open a new restaurant in Portsmouth by the end of the year to join her locations in Manchester and Epping. The new location in Portsmouth will likely be located along Lafayette Road, away from the crowded restaurant scene in downtown Portsmouth. Equally important, the new Portsmouth location will have enough space to add composting to her green legacy.

[Manchester, NH] (May 25, 2014)— 900 Degrees Pizzeria has been recognized as a 2014 “Editors’ Choice” winner in Yankee Magazine’s Travel Guide to New England. This designation is awarded by Yankee’s editors and contributors who name select restaurants, lodgings, and attractions in New England to the exclusive list. Selected as having the best pizza in New Hampshire, this honor adds to 900 Degrees’ growing list of accolades which includes nods from Zagat, New Hampshire Business Magazine and Hippo Press.
“We are honored that the editors at Yankee Magazine recognized us as having the best pizza in New Hampshire,” said owner Priscilla Lane-Rondeau. “In the past we have been recognized as having the best chili in the state or best mac and cheese in the state- but our number one passion is creating delicious Neapolitan-style pizza. It is immensely gratifying anytime we receive accolades for our pizza!”
The pizza mentioned in Yankee Magazine, the classic margherita, is a customer favorite and consists of bright tomato sauce, fresh basil and slightly-salty buffalo mozzarella. The thin crust rings true to the signature Neapolitan-style- with delicately charred edges complementing the chewy center of the pie.
“Reading our annual special Travel Guide section, ‘Best of New England,’ is as close to sitting down with Yankee’s editors and getting us to spill our favorite places as one can get,” says Mel Allen, editor of Yankee Magazine. “New England is where we live, and we all have our own personal ‘best’ places. We’re joined by our state experts (William and Kay Scheller, Vermont; David Lyons and Patricia Harris, Massachusetts, with Amy Traverso and Kara Baskin, Boston; Hilary Nangle, Maine; Barbara Wysocki, Connecticut; Kate Grip, New Hampshire; and Lisa Speidel, Rhode Island), whose sole task is to surprise us: to tell us about restaurants and attractions and local secrets that will make this issue one to keep on hand whenever you set off to explore New England. Whether your journeys take you inland or to the sea, we hope these pages come along. As always, let us know what you find.”
With two locations, one in Epping and one in Manchester, the restaurants house a custom-built wood-fired oven which delivers a thin crust pizza and keeps customers coming back for more. Both locations features a wide variety of thin-crust pizzas alongside an extensive wine and martini list, fresh salads and appetizers and a function room available to rent for events or business meetings.
