900 Degrees Pizzeria Named a 2014 “Best of New England — Editors’ Choice” Winner by Yankee Magazine

Yankee Magazine[Manchester, NH] (May 25, 2014)— 900 Degrees Pizzeria has been recognized as a 2014 “Editors’ Choice” winner in Yankee Magazine’s Travel Guide to New England. This designation is awarded by Yankee’s editors and contributors who name select restaurants, lodgings, and attractions in New England to the exclusive list. Selected as having the best pizza in New Hampshire, this honor adds to 900 Degrees’ growing list of accolades which includes nods from Zagat, New Hampshire Business Magazine and Hippo Press.

“We are honored that the editors at Yankee Magazine recognized us as having the best pizza in New Hampshire,” said owner Priscilla Lane-Rondeau. “In the past we have been recognized as having the best chili in the state or best mac and cheese in the state- but our number one passion is creating delicious Neapolitan-style pizza. It is immensely gratifying anytime we receive accolades for our pizza!”

The pizza mentioned in Yankee Magazine, the classic margherita, is a customer favorite and consists of bright tomato sauce, fresh basil and slightly-salty buffalo mozzarella. The thin crust rings true to the signature Neapolitan-style- with delicately charred edges complementing the chewy center of the pie.

“Reading our annual special Travel Guide section, ‘Best of New England,’ is as close to sitting down with Yankee’s editors and getting us to spill our favorite places as one can get,” says Mel Allen, editor of Yankee Magazine. “New England is where we live, and we all have our own personal ‘best’ places. We’re joined by our state experts (William and Kay Scheller, Vermont; David Lyons and Patricia Harris, Massachusetts, with Amy Traverso and Kara Baskin, Boston; Hilary Nangle, Maine; Barbara Wysocki, Connecticut; Kate Grip, New Hampshire; and Lisa Speidel, Rhode Island), whose sole task is to surprise us: to tell us about restaurants and attractions and local secrets that will make this issue one to keep on hand whenever you set off to explore New England. Whether your journeys take you inland or to the sea, we hope these pages come along. As always, let us know what you find.”

With two locations, one in Epping and one in Manchester, the restaurants house a custom-built wood-fired oven which delivers a thin crust pizza and keeps customers coming back for more. Both locations features a wide variety of thin-crust pizzas alongside an extensive wine and martini list, fresh salads and appetizers and a function room available to rent for events or business meetings.
